Thank you for visiting my blog.
At this site I am trying to show you the work I have done at e7studio being first an intern from January 2011 to October 2011 and then working as BIM MODELER at Los Angeles Pierce College for almost three years.
Clicking on each one of the tabs above, you can watch a sort of videos I have prepared to show you the different processes and duties I have done.
There are six different tabs you can select:
The first one (Creation of BIM element) is dedicated to the creation of the elements that will make up a BIM Model. There I show you how to create an element from a 3D Solid done in Autocad.
The second one (How different elements make up a system) explains how combining different elements already done it is possible to create a mechanical (or electrical, plumbing, etc) system.
The third video shows the Central Plant BIM model at Los Angeles Pierce College and how it is possible to extract the information necessary from the BIM model to manage the different programs associated to the Maintenance of the Campus.
The fourth video explains how it is possible to manage the building spaces, rooms, exterior spaces and infrastructure creating a GIS system to contain all the information and the possibility to export and use this information for the benefit of the Campus.
The fifth document is an Energy Study created for the Construction Technologies Building at Los Angeles Trade Tech College to simulate the energy consumption of the energy and create a base for comparing different alternatives to reduce it.
Finally, the sixth video shows a Illuminance Studio done for the same previous building to analyze some of those alternatives and how they affect to the natural daylight received in different parts of the building, at different days and different hours.
To access to that information just click on the above tabs for each one of the files.
Thank you
